Lars Knudsen, 28, is from Copenhagen, Denmark. Lars works at Copenhagen Deaf Association as the Coordinator of Danish Sign Language interpreters, by handling all interpreter requests. Lars attended and graduated from Higher Technical Education of Frederiksberg TEC, in Copenhagen, majoring in Service and Communication.

Lars is also one of the four organisers of the first WFD Children Camp in 2006, in Denmark. Currently Lars is organising the Deaf Nordic Youth Camp this summer. Lars is from a 3rd generation Deaf family.

As the Vice-President of WFDYS, Lars does a lot of internal communication work, being the liaison between WFDYS and WFD in paperwork and structure, including the expansion of Youth Ordinary Members. He also assists Juan when necessary. Lars is responsible for helping develop youth leadership in Eastern Europe.

 His favorite saying is, "good communication is as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after" (Anne Morrow Lindbergh).
