The WFDYS have four mandatory meetings, one per year, spanning out through 2007 to 2011.

The first meeting took place immediately in Madrid, Spain after the Youth General Assembly elected a new board. At this first meeting, we were able to delegate responsibilities and tasks to each member of the WFDYS.

The official meeting for the year of 2007 took place in Castbergaard, Denmark in October 2007.

Our 2008 meeting will be in Jakarta, Indonesia from 22-27 June, coinciding with the 4th WFD Regional Secretariat Asia-Pacific Youth Camp.

Our 2009 meeting will take place at the Jr. Youth Camp in Slovakia. The same set-up will occur for our 2010 meeting, in Venezuela, at the Children Camp. Our last projected meeting will take place during the Youth Camp in South Africa in 2011.

Meetings are set on an annual basis but if funds allow it, we will investigate into meeting twice a year to give more productivity and progress in the work of the WFDYS.
